Toy Rescue Boxes is a program designed to donate toys to a rescue in need. Fluff and Feathers is picky about the rescues that they choose to include in this program and we only allow rescues who provide the best care to their birds to be included. The organization chooses the toys they wish to be donated, though they appreciate other toys from our line as well if you wish to add onto your donation. These Rescue Toy Boxes are discounted as a donation from Fluff and Feathers to the rescue, as well as to help you be able to donate more items for less!
*These boxes are for rescues only. When you purchase them, we will ship them to the rescue directly despite your address. If you are just donating, you do not need to look up and put the rescue’s shipping address in. Just use yours and we will ship the items accordingly. If you purchase toys for your own personal birds and add on a rescue box to be donated, you will be asked to pay for the shipping for that separate box. Fluff and Feathers covers the shipping of the rescue box to the organization but not personal additions to the order. If you want to purchase more toys for the rescue beyond the toy box, feel free to use the free shipping option at check out so we know to ship it all to the organization. Founded in 1995, The Gabriel Foundation is a 501(C)(3) avicultural and veterinary affiliated parrot welfare organization licensed by the State of Colorado, whose mission and purpose is to provide safe sanctuary and care for parrots in need, match extraordinary birds with caring adopters, and to inspire and encourage all to responsibly improve the lives of companion parrots.
40,000 sq. ft. in Elizabeth, CO, their Aviary & Adoption Center is located on nearly 36 acres in western Elbert County just outside of Elizabeth, CO and was designed with the total welfare of our feathered friends in mind. Throughout the complex, each species room has its own attached outdoor flight that provides year-round access to spacious, predator-proof flights where our birds can cavort with members of their own species safely in the great outdoors. Felled trees, branches, rocks and boulders, rope swings and toys of all kinds encourage chewing, foraging, and play in our diverse aviaries and flights
