Our Services
Online Training
In order to work with any client around the world, we have developed a remote way of meeting with clients and their animals easily. These training sessions are entirely online through video call. We have found that this is just as effective as being there in person, as Melanie can still demo with her video the actions to do, and be able to critique clients on their techniques and approach for the best training.
Flexible Scheduling
We can meet at earlier and later times than we could in-person because there is no travel time! There is also no possible additional travel fees since we are meeting online.
Serving Internationally
We can work with clients all around the world! We even work around your time zone.
Your Animal is More Relaxed
When a trainer comes to your home, fearful animals may shut down. If your animal is reactive, being in-person increases their stress. If your animal easily gets excited leading to overstimulation, they may not be able to calm down and focus to engage in learning. When meeting online, a new person is not there! Therefore, any undesirable behavior reactions to the trainer’s presence does not exist and training can commence.
Online Training Allows…
For you to learn more! Clients can sometimes rely too heavily on their trainers to reach the goals they have for their animals. We see clients who may not train as frequently as they should because the trainer will be back in-person for a follow up session. It puts client’s in the headspace of “oh, I don’t need to train today because the trainer will be back soon to train them then.” We educate client’s to educate their animal to change behaviors because that is the only way for long-term success! Online sessions puts the training work on you, while the trainer supports and educates you!
In Person Training
For local clients, we offer in person training services for your companions. We actively service Maryland and surrounding states, but are also willing to travel. Travel fees may apply to these sessions.
We recommend to work with the animal where it is most comfortable and showcasing the undesired behaviors. Often when we transport animals to a new environment, there is added stress and distractions that could decrease the quality of the training session. We work with whatever is best for you and your animal. We prefer to come to your residence rather than the animal come to our facility. All caretakers are expected to be present during the session so everyone is aware of the training and possible changes needed in the animal’s environment for added success.
In Home Sessions
We will come out to your house to work with your animal where they are most comfortable. Meeting you at your house decreases the stress and pressure on you and your animal by having us come right to you.
Live Demonstrations and Critiques
During the visit, demonstrations may be applicable or requested to help further explain and define the written training plan. It may also be needed for the client to demonstrate what they have learned from the visit with their animal to be sure timing and accuracy is presented for ultimate success.

These are compatible with online and in person sessions. Additional travel fees may be added if you are outside a 20 mile radius of Havre de Grace, MD.
3 Sessions: $276.25
One initial training session including going over the questionnaire form, creating the written training plan, and an up to two hour video call
Two follow up training sessions up to an hour long which includes amending the training plan if needed, live training demos/reviewing, and other support throughout the training process

Every session will include…
Written training plan you will get a copy of
The training plan outlines important skills and modifications we want you to focus on in-between training sessions
It includes how to train the behaviors in detail including describing how to do the training
When to move onto the next step in the training plan based upon the behaviors you are seeing
In case you run into a common questions or a behavior we were not anticipating, the training plan includes any troubleshooting of common mistakes, behavioral changes, and how to handle triggers
Any education we feel like you need in order to be successful with the training plan
Links to products, video demonstrations of training, classes, or any other resources
Any maintenance, or changes to everyday life to help support the structured training plan, that is recommended
7 days a week support from your trainer VIA email, text, or phone call
Support in the ways you learn. Whether you are a visual learner, hands on, visual ,etc. we work with you so you can learn and retain the information
Training video critiques and reviews for all training sessions
Online Training Sessions Also Include…
Recorded zoom calls that you will receive a copy of after the visit so you do not feel pressured to take notes
Video demonstrations of the training if needed to aid in leaning
Flexible scheduling to accommodate your time zone. We have worked all over the world, even having sessions starting at 1:00amEST.
In Person Training Sessions Also Include…

Initial Training Session: $175.00
The initial training session every new client has to book. These are longer sessions with more background information so our trainers can best understand the behavior and help you efficiently. Below are some of the benefits to this training session:
Questionnaire form that gives information for our trainers to preform a functional assessment on your animal to understand their behaviors and contributing factors
Formulating the written training plan you will get a copy of
An up to two hour visit where we go over the training plan in detail so you are confident with the training
Live training can be done at the end/during the appointment when applicable
Follow Up Training Sessions: $75.00
Follow up sessions are needed in order to get the support required to modify your animal’s behaviors. Every client and their animal’s behaviors will need a different amount of follow up support. Here are some of the benefits to this training session:
Up to an hour visit with your trainer
When applicable we can review live training demos, watch training session footage from your training throughout the week, and general live training
We can amend the training plan
We can add new behaviors you are wanting to work on
Modify any maintenance of the behaviors as they are progressing
Change our approach to the behaviors we are working on based upon the animal and trainers response to the original training plan
Get reassurance you are on the right track with training
